Call-Out Excess

Call-Out Excess Policy

For service plans that include reactive call-outs (Comfort, Premier and Ultimate), a fixed excess applies per engineer visit.

Excess Amount

  • £60 + VAT per call-out
  • Charged once per engineer visit, regardless of time on site
  • Payable at the time of booking or attendance

What the Excess Covers

  • Engineer attendance and initial fault diagnosis
  • Labour for covered repairs (subject to plan terms)
  • Use of specialist tools and diagnostic equipment

When the Excess Applies

  • Each time an engineer attends for a reactive fault
  • Even if no repair is possible due to access issues or non-covered faults

When the Excess Does Not Apply

  • Annual boiler or system servicing
  • Planned maintenance visits
  • Follow-on visits required to complete the same covered repair

Important Notes

  • • Excess applies per property, per visit
  • • Materials are supplied in line with your plan terms
  • • Repairs outside plan coverage will be quoted separately and approved before work proceeds
